Audio Dependent

Audio Dependent is the musical alter-ego of London based
audio-visual artist, Tim Cowie. Tim began making electronic
music when he first had access to a computer and his
musical style has evolved over the years from electronica
to breakbeat, dubstep and most recently, minimal techno.
He fuses a wide range of musical influences to create a
sound of unique depth, atmosphere and rhythm. In July
2006 he released an e.p. entitled 'Teatime' on the netlabel,
After Dinner. This was followed up with the release,
'Dislocated e.p.' on the new digital label, Metroline Ltd in
February of this year. This e.p. has received much critical
acclaim, being played by international djs such as The Italoboyz,
Andrew Weatherall, Arnaud Le Texier and Shelly Parker.

Over the past year Tim has been gaining a reputation for his live performances, with his melodic style entertaining the mind as much as the feet. With a monthly residency at Doudou Malicious's infamous night, Multi Vitamins, live sets at Fluid and a headlining slot at Brixton's Click Click Whirr, 2007 looks like a very promising year for this young producer.
